Fees for therapy services
Initial intake assessment session: $250
Individual therapy session: $225
Health Insurance
We are currently in-network providers through Wellmark BCBS (Iowa). You are responsible for calling your insurance provider to confirm that our services are covered and verifying out-of-pocket costs for services.
For out-of-network clients, we can provide you a superbill to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. This will require you requesting prior authorization for our services before you begin working with us.
Payment for services is required on the day services are rendered. A credit card is required to be kept on file for payment processing.
We are both credentialed to provide care through the Lyra Employee Mental Health Program (https://www.lyrahealth.com/). If your employer is enrolled in the Lyra EAP you will have access to a pre-determined number of sessions fully covered by your employer. If you cannot find us in the Lyra Portal and would like to work with one of us, feel free to contact us to inquire about our availability.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please do so at least 24 hours prior to your appointment. You will be charged a fee for missed appointments or late cancellations.
Good Faith Estimates
At the onset of your care, you have the right to receive a ‘good faith estimate’ outlining how much your healthcare at Summer Gold Counseling is projected to cost you for a set course of therapy. During the course of therapy this estimate can be revised as-needed in collaboration with you. If additional services are recommended, a new estimate will be presented to you upon request.
